Support for Muggins, a digital cribbage board for iPhone and iPad.
Muggins turns your device into a cribbage board for scoring a game played with real cards. Pull your knob to peg, first to 121 wins. Below are answers to common questions — if yours isn't here, email us and we'll help.
Does the app deal or count the cards for me?
No. Muggins is only the board. You play with a real deck and count your own hands —
the app keeps the score.
How do I peg points?
Pull and hold your knob. A live preview counts the points as you drag; release to peg,
or drag back to the start to cancel.
I pegged the wrong number. How do I undo it?
Tap the undo button (↺) on your side of the board to take back the last peg. Only the
player who made the last peg can undo it.
How do I turn the peg sounds off?
Open the menu and toggle Sound effects. The app also respects your device's silent
switch.
How do I remove ads?
Open the menu and choose Remove ads (or Unlock everything, which also includes all
board themes). It's a one-time purchase — no subscription.
I bought Remove Ads or a theme but it's not showing.
Open the menu and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple
Account you bought with. Purchases restore on any of your devices at no extra cost.
How do I change the board theme?
Open the menu, choose Change theme, and tap a board to preview it. Classic is free;
Obsidian and Casino can be previewed before you buy.
Will I lose my game if I close the app?
No. A game in progress is saved automatically and restored exactly where you left off.
Can I play against someone online?
No. Muggins is designed for two players sharing one device across a table.
